Les Rochers les Pierres

 

J`ai la  chance  de passer chaque année plusieurs mois  par an, en croisière à travers la Méditérranée, à bord d `un voilier

 

Mon cahier de croquis ne me quitte pas, il se remplit de dessins de rocher, j`ai toujours la même émotion devant leur beauté, leur infinie variété, et ils seront une base de mon inspiration

 

Pendant les mois d`hivers à Malte, mes pinçeaux donnent couleurs vie et mouvements à mes dessins d`été

L’histoire de Malte et des chevaliers

 

L`histoire de Malte, depuis le Néolithique, jusqu`à la dernière guerre mondiale est si riche si fascinante

Dans ma peinture, je m`attache particulièrement à la période des Chevaliers, et à leurs exploits durant le grand siège

De nombreux documents existent, et je les transpose dans ma propre vision, mes propres couleurs.

Rocks and Stones

 

I am fortunate to spend several months each year cruising the Mediterranean on a sailing yacht with my sketch book, which never leaves my side.

 

It is filled with drawings of rocks, for which I always have the same feelings in front of their beauty, their infinite variety and they will always be the source of my inspiration.

 

During the winter months, my brush gives colour, life, movement and realism to my summer sketches

 

The History of Malta and the Knights

 

Since the Neolithic times to the Second World War , the history of Malta is rich, fascinating and diverse.

In my paintings,  my favourite era is the times of the knights  and their exploits during the great siege. A lot of written evidence exists which I transpose into my own vision and colours.
